Loganair, 'Scotland's Airline', operates most of its Saab 340 fleet in BA Union Flag livery (although some are painted white and one operates in the colours of its previous operator, Moldovian Airlines). However for the last couple of years it has operated its two B-N Islanders primarily used on its Northern Isles routes in its own colours:
Both of these aircraft have now been repainted in the colours of a single malt whiskey distiller, Highland Park. It claims that its Orkney Isles distillery near Kirkwall is the most northerly whiskey distillery in the world. Unusually and not visible on either of the above photos, the main promotional slogan is across the tops of the wings of these high-winged aircraft. The 'h' logo seen on the tail and fuselage in the photos is also present on the top of the wing tipsand has the slogan 'THE BEST SPIRIT IN THE WORLD' in white between them. This can be seen on the photo in the news release on the Highland Park web site at: http://www.highlandpark.co.uk/news/newsitem.asp?id=EDR-22006-72-56843
