Is there any technical reason why aircrafts have no paint schemes or big writings on their wings?

To answer your question I am not sure if there are any technical reasons, but there are a few airlines that have their wings painted, like this BALAIR A310..

Probably because no one will see the scheme plus the weight of the paint actually increases the fuel burn!

Royal Jordanian airlines did paint the wings of their a/c white for a while when their new look was introduced in the mid 80s, but they scrapped the idea after some time, personally i dont like painted wings, except for on business jets

In the 1960's and 70's BEA aircraft had all red wings. They tried to have this incorporated into the first British Airways scheme in 1974 but the idea of painting a 747's wings red was too daunting. If BEA had taken delivery of their Tristars before BA was formed, they would have had red wings too - now that would have been interesting.
