Hey AF Cabin Crew!

There have been rumors (suposelly confirmed) That AF would start a 3rd daily route to Montreal Dorval (YUL) with a 767. That would have made one 747-400, one 747-200 and one 767. Did that plan changed to two 747-400?

Rgds,

Nicolas

Air France is doing well, alot of people that come to Dubai from Montreal use
Air France, they're really popular in Canada, they should start a CDG-YVR service soon!

Bonjour !

Marco, Air France nor any french or canadian airline can start flying between France and Western Canada.
The treaty signed between the 2 countries include only eastern Canada. Our respective government must strike a new deal to include western Canada and AC and AF can start flying to Vancouver from Paris !

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew.

Do the LAX flights include the flight(s) to Papeete? Or are those only the CDG flights? I know Air France flies from LAX to Tahiti, but I'm not certain of the frequency or the equipment (I believe it is a daily 747-400).

Can you enlighten?

Wow, 3 daily LAX and a 747 to CVG ! I'm amazed
Also no more 310 to PHL, cool. Quite some 777s for America.
Sounds like interesting news.
Thanks,

B737-700

The timetable on the Air France website still says that the CDG-PHL route is operated by an A310.
CDG-PPT is operatded thrice weekly by a B744 via LAX.

AF070 is the CDG-LAX-PPT flight, it operates 3 times a week during the winter and 4 times a week during the summer always with the B747-400.
AF379 will change to the B767-300 on December 1st and will be as such for the summer 2001. These are the news from the PHL station people. They told us they were very happy to loose the A310. Eventhough the A310 has more high-yeld capacity with 40 Business Class seats, compare to the 25 the B767-300 has.

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew.

A 747 to CDG?! Are you sure about this? I didn't know the CVG route needed that capacity.

Remember that DL has a hub at CVG, and that influences AFs decisions. remember, CVG is the airport from where DL wants to start flying to Beijing!

Bonjour, AF Cabin Crew! Nice to see you on here again. I'm curious about those CDG-LAX-PPT flights; any chance for a stopover at SFO for any CDG-PPT flights in the future? There's a lot of money up here just waiting to be spent somewhere exotic!

Just a question to AF Cabin Crew or anyone else who would know:

What's the possibility of AF opening up new US destinations, particularily here at SEA? As you might or might not know, we only have 2 European airlines here, BA and SAS. I would think a daily 777 SEA-CDG flight would be quite successful, and our proximity to Vancouver would get around that legal restriction you brought up.

Thanks
