Well the tower is LAX's, but I assume it is just a computer or backdrop scene.

I have been thinking the same. If it is filmed in an actual airport, and is filmed in the States, I would say it would be LAX (QF tail in the back, albeit it could also be JFK or SFO as well (I don't think QF has 744s going into HNL anymore). Having said that, I know ad companies often shoot outside of the US to save money, so I would not be surprised if the ad was done in Australia, NZ or Europe (specifically LHR).

Best,

Wasim / Planemannyc

I doubt it's lax because the a/c in the foreground is a 763, the tail in the background i think is also a QF 763, it's definitely not a 744. i'm guessing it's a stock shot taken in Australia, i'm assuming the commercial itself was probably filmed on a soundstage somewhere. The funny thing is, most people outside of a.net are so ignorant about airplanes and airports that they don't even realize that the logo on the tail in the background is Qantas.

Why are people so against low yields?! If lower yields means more people can travel abroad, i'm all for it

You know, I saw that thread, but I didn't see any discussion on where the "Airport" one was filmed.  Wink

Either this thread or another that discussed the Caveboys and LAX . . . both were in Non-Av.

So you mean it's not a Trans-Global Airlines 727 with propellers?  duck

I can tell you with a 100% certainty that the window view outside is LAX. Im not sure about the indoor shots. Could just be a backdrop.
