I checked and could not find a thread with Airline and Aircraft that include PTVs in coach... so let's start one. Here are the one's I can think of after recently flying:
SQ - A345/747...?
BA - 744/777... ?
B6 - A320/E190
UA - 777
AA - 777
CO - 777/764
DL - 764/757

It would also be useful if the type of IFE provided was also listed. AVOD where you can start, pause, stop when you want or just PTV's that run through a set amount of movies/shows and you can tune in.

From a former thread
* all listed aircraft types without further notice or symbols have PTVs on board
* * = only parts of fleet equipped with PTV or installation in process
* A = PTV plus AVOD (Audio/Video-on-Demand) available
* A* = standard PTV on board; part of fleet also equipped with AVOD or its installation in process
* *A* = fleet partly with and without PTV or partly without PTV, and partly with AVOD or its installation in process
* A+ = standard PTV available and planned to receive AVOD, or future deliveries planned to include AVOD
* +A = PTV not available but fleet planned to receive AVOD
* L = PTV & LiveTV
* L* = PTV & LiveTV partly available or installation in process
* L+ = LiveTV planned with future deliveries
* A330 = all series if not specified
* A340 = all series if not specified
* B767 = all series if not specified
* B777 = all series if not specified
* Italics = future fleet addition
Before you start checking the data, please be aware the list is not absolutely complete. Quick changes in aviation are quite common and there are always pieces of information which cannot be gained easily and without doubt. Especially in terms of AVOD it is very hard sometimes to get reliable info.
So should you find mistakes or data missing, don’t hesitate to let me know. Last time many members helped me in extending and upgrading the original list. So thanks in advance for any input! Smile
And here it is: the “Ultimate PTV List” – latest edition - featuring 71 airlines:
I updated the info for AC, All Embraers have PTV AVOD and the system is currently progressively being introduced on their A319, A320, B763, some B762's and will eventually also be on the A330s

Actually what's the use of having PTV's on regional airliners?
P.S its so sad to see IB being one of the major airlines left out. They didn't even want to put them on their A346's !
The say they have the most modern fleet and most modern interiors. Most modern with me starts with PTV's

Quoting Goldorak (Reply 4): AF : A320 (Africa-Middle east configuration only)
No PTV in any AF A320, even those flying to TLV, AMM, DAM, EVN.
They only have "normal" LCD screens every 4 or 5 rows both in C and Y.
The same IB has :
No PTV in C & Y either in the AF A319ER "Dedicate". They have also the same TV pictured above.
Though personnal DVD Player are now provided to the PAX in Business Class for a test period.

No Iberia has removed ALL IFE from its fleet excpet the A340.300 and A340-600. Its a big shame especially if you are flying from MAD-SVO or CAI since you don't even have the radio to listen to

Does getting them count? CO is installing AVOD at each seat on all 752s in Y/C beginning this summer.

I believe it's the same for the LX A343s
also my Swedish relatives told me that they got a pamphlet on their flight to IAD on SK and it turns that they should be upgrading their IFE to AVOD. Can anyone here confirm this?

Does anyone know if Air France has AVOD in Y?
United Airlines - Worldwide Service
25 Airnewzealand: The 747-300 were upgraded in 2004-2005. (Seats, Carpet, Curtains, complete overhaul except overhead bins and galleys) They contain PTV's with 12 Chann
26 Goldorak: it depends on class and A/C. When it exists it's in J and P (I'm almost sure not in Y). A332 have AVOD. Some 773 and 772 have it also (I never unders
27 ONTFlyer: Regarding DL 764's. I'll be flying them LAX-HNL-LAX next month and just wanted to know if all of their 764's have PTV's or if that's limited only to
28 Kiwiandrew: the NZ 744 and the 777 fleet are all equipped with AVOD PTVs in all classes - so I believe you should have both types listed as A
29 AceFreighter: BA's Longhaul 767-300's have PTV in all cabins.
30 1337Delta764: The domestic 767-400s will probably not have PTVs in economy until 2008 or later. However, they currently feature PTVs in First Class, just not AVOD.
31 ONTFlyer: Thank you for the info. Any ideas about the food? Meal or snack boxes? ONT
32 LXA340: There are PTV's in Y on the leased in ex SR and SN A332 aircraft. However most of them if not all of them have left the fleet again as their usage wa
33 Flyorski: LH needs to get more PTV's, its a shame really..... Maybe the A380s and 747-8's will have them..........
