Hi,
I pass Kemble Airfield on the way to college every morning and for a while an ex Air Atlanta Icelandic 742 has been sitting presumably awaiting scrapping. It maintained 3 of its engines until it was tugged into the scrapping area about 3 weeks ago. It then lost all engines and sat for about a week before being tugged out again and for about a week was surrounded by cars, had 4 different engines attatched (white as apposed to the old blue ones) and each time I passed had the two front exits open with the emergency slide going down. Then, last time I saw it, it was back in the scrapping area again, engineless, looking as if it had never happened. Any ideas on what has been going on?
