Why Is There A PTV Missing On This Pic?

If you look weel on the second middle row to where the picture is taken you will see that there is a seat with a PTV missing?
Why is it only this seat? Are there many airlines where the same happens? Must be terrible for the person who gets to seat in front of that missing PTV?

Probably because the seat in front is misaligned. PTV is probably in the armrest.

edit - Actually it looks like there is one less seat in the row with the missing PTV

Maybe if you looked closely you would see that the row of seats is only three so only three seats with PTV's needed.

the fuselage tightens towards the rear of this A/C making it too narrow for a 2-4-2 config., and therefore one seat is taken away in the center row, creating a 2-3-2 config. Now it would be pointless, and impossible to have 4 monitors for 3 controls/ seats, and therfore on monitor gap simply isnt filled in...


Is it the kerosene, or is it just me...

Oh I get it right! The pic is tkaen at the narrowing. Doesn't look to obvious at first sight of the pic but makes totally sense
