On my way to work this morning (around 7h00), I passed by YUL and I saw that a Continental airline plane was surrounded by firetrucks and ambulance at the end of a runway. The plane seemed to be a regional jet but I can't tell exactly what type it was since I had to keep my eyes on the road. I couldn't find much information in the media so I said to myself why not register to A.net and ask some experts. I hope someone can give me more details on this minor event.

Heard from Radio-Canada that they had to close a runway temporarily. And learned all the a/c details from you!
