The 747-400's are Ruby Tuesday, Lady Penelope, Tinker Belle, Tubular Belle,
Austin Powered, and Virginia Plain.

You can find the complete list at Virgin Atlantic's website. It's there. Some of
the A340 names are China Girl, Maiden Toulouse, Jetstreamer, Rainbow Lady,
Lady in Red, Diana, Maiden Tokyo.

I always loved "Maiden Toulouse" (Made in Toulouse). Sir Richard has quite a sense of humour.

Any idea how the 5 new 744s (the ones originally orderd by AZ) will be called/registered? Or is it too early to ask?

It would be great if they had a competition for the normal people (i.e. us) to come up with names.
