More bad news for Australians flying overseas. It looks like eight Aussies were killed in this crash earlier today. Does anyone know what type of plane it was?

I can not find a plane type yet or any photos. It seems that all the papers are only saying it was a private jet just north of the city it took off from.
Very sad news. My prayers are with the familys on board.

Conflicting reports coming out of the Nyasa Times, which is reporting that "Two white people are feared dead after a chartered private jet crashed outside the capital Lilongwe".

OK. It looks like the Australian media is a little jumpy after the Garuda thing. Same newspaper is now reporting that one Australian is dead and that earlier fears of eight were unfounded. Still, very sad day for everyone involved.
Once again proving that the media care more about being first than being right!
