I am going to be flying to NYC with work every two weeks, I'll be traveling with AC in J class, does anyone know if AC offers any on-board service during this rather short flight? Thanks!

You don't say where you are coming from? Generally speaking, however, AC provides service (at least a cold meal, dessert and free drinks) to J passengers on any flight with a J cabin.

As you say short flight I would assume you mean from like YUL or YYZ to LGA / EWR? I have been traveling on those routes a few times, last time in november on YUL - LGA and they only serve drinks and nuts and that's it.

It usually depends on the time of day. I've received anything from nuts, to a cold plate, to a hot sandwich. Always free booze though.

Its never "just nuts", at least a cold plate or a snack.

Even on the YYZ-YOW which is real short we give something to eat.

But lets get real. This is North America we are talking about. What service are you REALLY expecting?

Erm, it is the flag carrier of Canada, a damn sight different to a U.S legacy

Hahahaha... ok. But i remained to be convinced though having flown SFO-YVR on AC some years back. This was even before 9-11 and pre-cut backs. Service was abysmal and i might dare say comparable to their N American counterparts.

In economy or J? Anyway service has actually improved since then thanks to some of the grumpy old crows f/a's retiring. Though there's many more that need to go in my opinion. But combine with with project XM and service is getting better.
