Why Is AC Hiring Right Now?

I just read in the paper that Air Canada continues to hire people in almost all areas. I just can't see the logic in this. The seniority issues still have to be settled and aren't there enough employees in the present AC/CP workforce to handle the increases? Does anybody have any information on this situation?

They're mostly looking for FA's and CSA's, but nothing in management level. I actually applied for a CSA position, but never got a response back.
