Excuse my curiosity. What is a "hospitality professional"? A Knight of Malta?
On second thought, I assume it is a hotel business executive of sort.

From what I gather there are several events planned by different parties however all are invite only.

In today's world I seriously doubt a mass open house type event would ever be possible at a major airport.

Call me when SFO handles twice the traffic it does and maintains a decent ontime record.

...we're not that bad anymore, in fact, that is one of the reasons as to why WN is coming back to SFO (along with better rates)...

...and I'm glad we don't handle twice the amount of traffic..the airport is much easier to use and fly into/out of.....

...and as a Bay Area resident who flies every few weeks, I have to say the so-called notorious "fog" delays are a bit overblown....

Thank God it doesn't handle as much traffic, thus less of a zoo compared to LAX.

Actually, if SFO's delays are taken care of, its slightly better placed for a trans-Pacific hub than LAX.

Personally, I would love to see SFO get its runways "re-aligned" (out in the bay, bridges?) Why? Then it would force the mayor of LA to act and modernize LAX (heaven forbid they actually build the "smart" west terminal).

As to the A380, very interesting that it will be there two days.  Smile Sadly I'll miss it (due to wedding planning). Cest la vie. Sometimes some things have to trump aerospace.  wideeyed

laughing  Actually, I thought that was humorous.

Where else will it be on its North American tour? It can't just be L.A. I may get that day off, but I don't want to go all the way to L.A. to check that out.
