Where Do Most People Connect To At DXB From LON?

I was wondering why London (Heathrow and Gatwick) have so many flights a day to Dubai (DXB). Eight altogether. (Plus 2 from BA & 1 from VS)

So my question is, where do most people connect to at Dubai. Surely most services are already served non-stop from the London airports already?

Surely not all those 8 flights are O & D passengers? BA and VS can cater for those markets can't they?

I don't have any specific figures, but I'm sure that EK is stealing a ton of India, Africa, Middle East, Australia traffic. Maybe even a litte Asia traffic as well.
