Who else is interested in 747X anyways? I heard that Airbus is undercutting Boeing pricewise.
Btw, I couldn't picture my self in A3XX. Way too big. I even think 747 is too big for my liking. It's freaks me out thinking that one of those fully-packed A3XX can take away so many lives in a single accident.

If BA doesn´t order the B747X or the A3XX they´ll loose ground to Virgin Atlantic. Who wants to fly in a 777 when he can fly in a more roomy, more modern and comfortable A3XX for possibly even less money? Surely not me.
And, Watewate, I absolutely don´t share your fears of an accident of an A3XX. The bigger the planes are, the less aircraft you´ll need, the less traffic you´ll have, the less delays, the less slot problems. Flying one A3XX instead of two 777s reduces the risk of a crash by about 50%.

Hi Na. I disagree with your comment regarding roominess on the 777 and A3XX. Both are large aircraft with a very roomy feel. A person can only feel the roominess in his/her immediate vicinity and as far as they can see in the cabin. I have flown many 747's, 767's, MD11's etc and I don't find one more "roomy" than another. I have my seat, overhead storage, an aisle, an area near the bathroom to stand etc., and those dimensions aren't significantly different on any of the aircraft, except for maybe the L1011. The L1011 has a row of 5 lavatories next to each other in the rear of the plane which makes for a roomy waiting area. No one who flies an A3XX will have large open areas. If they did, there would be wasted revenue producing area or they are hauling around unnecessary metal and weight. None of us should make the mistake of forgetting how every extra pound on an airliner costs the airline precious dollars or euros. Please pardon me for rambling and getting off topic and thanks for posting Na.
