They go to LHR, CDG and ORD. I'm sure there are more places...

LAX-DEN
LAX-ORD
LAX-CDG
LAX-LHR
LAX-FRA (I think)

Does Anyone know if the LAX-FRA route exists?

According to the latest timetable, UAL flies the following with a 777:

LAX-CDG (flt #932)
LAX-DEN (flt #252, #346)
LAX-HNL (flt #65)
LAX-IAD (flt #190)
LAX-LHR (flt #934)
LAX-ORD (flt #842)

United currently codeshares with Lufthansa (on Lufthansa 747-400s) to Frankfurt.

The 777 is also used LAX-IAD. SQA340: The LAX-FRA flight is a codeshare operated by Lufthansa. Jeff

Travelin Man has the right info. UA will fly the 777s on LAX-MIA starting on 15Feb01 but for now it's the 763. UA had 777s on that route until 29Oct00. The777Man

Thanks for all the info guys. Do you know, of these routes, how frequently (if ever) UAL 777's with sleeper seats are used? I'd imagine they are used only on international flights, but on that note, I have flown in a sleeper seat just LAX - DEN. Is there any structure to the routing, or is it done at random? I'm just wondering if I could expect to find myself in a sleeper seat flying to HNL or ORD - not just LHR and CDG.
thanks,
wft

I know that N213UA has no sleeper seats, that has more seats then most of there 777, they only have a handful of them in this configuration. And 213UA is the newest.

N213UA is not UA's newest 777, N217UA is. UA has 6 two-class 777-222s, N210UA-N215UA, that do not have the First Suite, but they have Economy Plus which the three-class 777s do not have. All 777-222ER, N782UA-799UA, N204UA-N209UA, N216UA and higher, all have the First Suite. I think that the three-class 777-222s, N766UA-N781UA, will be fitted with the First Suite also. The777Man

UA flies the three-class planes on certain domestic routes. A 777 starts the day in DEN and flies to LAX. Then it goes to IAD and then continues to CDG, FRA or LHR. There are numerous other routings like this but too many to mention. So, it depends what configuration the plane has. If the three-class plane has 231 seats in economy, then it's a 777-222 and less likely to have the First Suite. The two-class planes mainly fly LAX-HNL, SFO-HNL and a few flights between hubs, LAX-ORD, DEN-SFO and so on. The777Man

I stand corrected!! Many thanks for the info, Kohflot!!! So, I guess all three-class 777s for UA will have the First Suite if they don't already have it. The777Man

I flew the First Suite on N780UA IAD-LHR a few months ago. Good to hear 772 is re-configured. It looks like all 772s in 3-class will be reconfigured soon. In fact, I flew N772UA in First Class IAD-AMS and back (Aug00) when it did not have First Suite. First Suite- what a blessing.

I think the 3-class 777s are randomly placed on all routes. Meaning, the First Suite planes can fly any domestic routes allocated to 3-class birds, and non-First Suite planes fly throughout the system on domestic and limited Int'l flights aswell.
