Anyone tracking the A380 flight from Frankfurt to New York today? Any info on where to track and flight number would be appreciated.

it left very much on time this morning, 0900 am CET, a smooth and quiet take off in western direction, good view from the visitors terrace at T2.

should arrive JFK on time weather permitting.

At the moment JFK website says she is at FL360 with an ETA of 11:29. (as against 11:47)

Flightaware recognizes the aircraft and has the flight number listed as of 10:25 Eastern time.

They don't have the live tracking available yet, however.

DLH8940 finally showed up on Flightaware.com. When I search by aircraft type (A388), the FRA-JFK flight is the only one that is displayed. I can't believe the TLS-LAX operated by QF doesn't appear on any flight tracking site or in this forum. I guess some of you aren't aren't aware there are two (2) A388s landing in America today, not just one to JFK  banghead

According to FlightTrack Live! it appears that the A388 is now officially over US Soil for the first time.

Looks like it crossed over the northeastern border of Maine at approximately 11:00am EST.

I would imagine that they're checking in with the ROBER approach (poor guy, he's just had his 4th request for info on when the A380 is coming in Big grin), I would imagine he's handling the northern approach while CAMRN handles the southern.
