LAX A380 Departure Tuesday Now 6PM

According to news reports the A380's departure from LAX is now moved up to 6PM from the original 730P.

Would this have anything to do with taking off in daylight for media coverage??
I am from the UK so don't have any info to hand at the moment as to what time it gets dark in LA at the moment.

Didn't watch it, but listened to LAX tower clear it for takeoff (as well as handing it off to Socal Departure) right from my desk in DAL... "Airbus 102 Super Heavy"

Gonna take awhile to get used to this "Super" prefix...  Wink

Completely off topic (sorry), but does any other aircraft get the "super heavy" designation? An225 perhaps?
