It is in Europe, it has 2 terminals with one runways, but with another which is operated only when the main runway is closed, the 2 runways cannot be operated at the same tim as they are too close ogether. A major airline has a very big hub here, although rumours have been swirling that this hub will soon be cut down. An airline which operates ATRs and Avro RJs is based here. Many flights from here go to the US and the airport handles around 31million people per year.

It has to be Gatwick! Both runways can't be operated simultaneously, there are two terminals (North and South), BA has a large hub here, although as BA centres in more and more on LHR for Long-haul, etc, LGW could lose more of the spotlight. More flights to the US depart from LGW, then any other European airport, and there is about 31 million expected to pass through LGW this year.
London Gatwick International Airport is my...(dare I say) Final Answer.
