I have just read in our local paper that the A380 will at last be paying a flying visit to RR in Derby. It is flying up from Bristol and doing a loop over EMA and then to RR.

Anyone know any timings or possible route over Derby? I am a teacher and would love to take my class out and see it fly over!

Does that mean that it's stopping in Filton?

Of all of the weeks for it to do this, I work 2 days in Aztec West so would be able to see it land if I was down but I'm not!!!!!!

The newspaper says that it will initially be in Bristol, with Airbus doing some tests on it. I assume that it will be there before the weekend. Not sure though.

Is good for RR, who got missed out last time the A380 did the rounds.
