It is on the ground, I can see it from the office. It is very misty so it not really worth taking a photo of the tail sticking up behind the terminal, AIB203, is due to depart HKG again at 14:00 and return at 16:00, it is at gate N62.

It was due to depart at 1400 for a local flight, but since it was almost 3 hours late from FRA they apparently rescheduled for 1600...

It'll be interesting to watch that thing take off from the top of CX city...

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit posting...

Have taken some misty shots at HKIA this afternoon, on her demon flight from/to HKG,

left at 1618pm on 07L and rescheduled to land at 1900pm. Here is the online album below

*** don't expect any good pic since there was a misty sky and view blocked by steel fences.

The A380 was late for two hours due to the need to change a hydraulic spare-part in FRA,,which had to be flown in from Toulouse...

A picture of the whale jet up close from Gate 62. I was definitely getting excited to see it up close as I'd never expected it.

Having seen it in person recently and seeing that pic, it's really surprisingly the engines that make it look so big and yet well proportioned at once. Especially from the front, the 747 doesn't look much smaller, but the 747 engines just look inadequate...  Smile
