Hi
Is the pilot(s) of the above flights viewing this thread at all, would like to email you.
Also can anyone advise what aircraft will be used for these flights and any indication of the loads at the moment.
I am also worried we have a short gap between the 4851 and 3382 and Frankfurt is a large airport. The difference between the scheduled landing and departure is 1hr 10mins. Is this plenty of time. Sounds a lot but once you have got off the aircraft, made it to the other one and any delays then its isnt really.

Hi there.
70 minutes of transfer time in Frankfurt is really no problem (usually), I'm not sure about loads. LH4851 is scheduled to by an 319 (A319-100), LH3382 an AB6 (A300-600R), seat reservations should be possible. If there really are delay problems, re-routing you is possible (either to another FRA-ATH flight or via MUC, which is the more convenient airport to transfer).
If you are flying Business Class, you can reserve seats beforehand.
If you are flying Economy Class, you cannot reserve seats beforehand on intra-European flights. They will be assigned upon check-in.

didn't use it before but LH offers a new service on their website. You could reserve your seat on any class when you book your flight online on www.lufthansa.de
FRA these days is a real chaos due to the beginning of the eastern vacations. All flights are overbooked, full of children and families and rather on time (intl. flights). The past three days hall A was almost black! Full of passengers which wait in very long queues.

The restrictions StarFlyer noted also apply for this online service:
