According to a friend of mine who just left Pinnacle, they and Delta have reached an agreement for Pinnacle to become a Delta connection, and Pinnacle is presently expanding their SOC to accomidate this growth. Apparently, the only reason this announcement hasn't been made publicly is because they are still trying to reach labor agreements with the Pilots and Flight Attendants, who this deal is predicated on. Once they get new contracts in place, this announcement should be made soon.

One thought I had on this is that this would make Pinnacle a Skyteam carrier, flying for all three Skyteam airlines. The other question I raise with this is, if this is true, what does this mean for Comair?
