Now that BA only offer pathetic snacks in their EuroTraveller class, I was wondering what you get on the slightly longer flights, such as Sharm el Sheikh? Surely they don't expect you to survive on a silly pizza slice?!
I know GB Airways are a franchise, but I assume they offer the same food/cutlery etc?

On GB Airways vs. BA traveling that distance, you should get a hot meal instead of the "All-day deli" fare of ice cold sandwiches preferred by BA. Last year, anyway, going LGW-FAO, I received a hot meal and it was decent. GB has been having some competition problems lately by the likes of the LCCs, so maybe they've also gone the ice cold deli route. I'll find out this summer.
