Is There A Cell Phone Lot At EWR?

I believe JFK has one but I'm not sure about EWR. I'm going to pick somebody up at Terminal C and wondering if there is a cellphone lot

Always wonderers if this "last and final boarding call" is in fact THE last and final boarding call.

How horrible that you have to spend $6 to park. We should march on the city and demand that Congress and the President drop everything they are doing and impose Federal standards for cell phone lots at all airports across the country. Wink

No, and there are few areas where one can park safely or legally even outside and near the airport perimeter to wait for a call from a pax.
What you might do is park down at the Jersey Gardens mall lot, about a 10 minute/4 mile ride south from the terminals. You can use the access road off of North Ave. East to the terminal roads. Don't even think about parking in the IKEA lot, hotel lots or along any roads in the area.
This should be considered, perhaps a lot on the periminiter of the airport where one pays a small fee (like $1 - 2 for up to the 1st hour and every hour) to free up short term parking, for limos and so on.
