The motto of ATA (American Trans Air) is "On ATA, you're on vacation." Flight crews have also used a variation of this slogan in saying, "Your Vacation Airline."

"Low fares, low comfort"...no just kidding...I hear they do a fine job, though I'm not sure if I'd like to be on one of those JFK-HNL L1011 flights in a 10-abreast layout...seems like it would be mighty cramped, esp. for a big guy like me. But I must say, I flew on a Pan Am/Carnival 72S back in 1997, and it was in the high density layout(179 seats I think), and I did not find it terrible. I love ATA's paint job...looks flat out awesome!
