I was flying this weekend and noticed that Frontier added the third frequency to Denver that had been announced a number of months ago. It is an evening flight that leaves at 7:30. I also noticed that ExpressJet is occupying the former Frontier gate and Frontier now occupies where Southwest had been and boards from Gate 21.

Gate 21- Frontier
Gate 22- Southwest
Gate 23- Southwest
Gate 24- Southwest
Gate 25- American
Gate 26- VACANT (AA might use it for RON aricraft)
Gate 27- American
Gate 28- ExpressJet

Quoting Mariner (Reply 2): TUS has been pretty good for Frontier - from 2 x daily express to 3 x mainline. I've sometimes wondered if a service to Mexico would work from there.
It would be lovely to have new International service here. Aero California used to have a flight to HMO 3 times weekly along with the 1 daily from AeroLitoral and it did fine so I think a nonstop to one of Frontiers mexico focus cities around 3 times weekly would do ok.

Is Aeromexico returning to Tucson? And if so, when, what routes, and what aircraft?

AeroMexico still serves TUS just through their regional affeliate AeroLitoral. I believe they do once daily service to Hermosillo on a Embraer 145. Correct me if im wrong.

Correct RedTailDTW-AeroMexico recently began using the Embraer 145 on the Tuscon-Hermosillo route. I work close to the airport noticed the RJ instead of the Saab flying in.
