Just 1, PH-HZK, don't know if it is coming back to transavia.com but I understood that it will finally get winglets.

Expect to see PH-BXV a lot on the AMS-LIS route. It has been operating the route twice a day for the last week. It has also been used to IST as well, so I think KLM will be using this aircraft on their longer european sectors to get the most out of those winglets.

Rgrds, Matt

Hi Matt!

Good to know that!!! I'm booked to fly KL from LIS to AMS on the 11th. June, KL1694, and I wouldn't mind to fly that 738!!!!
I'm "crossing my fingers on that"!!!
Regards

I've heard HV will be leasing two 737s for the summer, one is rumoured to come from Caribbean Airlines (formerly BW). Any more news on this?

Should be 9Y-GEO, msn 28225

Another 2 examples will come from SpiceJet for this summer season.

Also PH-HZO, a brandnew B738 will be delivered later this month, directly from BFI

No, not this year. But, I like the Carribean Airlines example very much  Smile Let's hope it will get some nice hybrid-colourscheme!

I saw today the PH-HZK in full Transavia colours at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. No winglets at the moment.

I asked around about the lease of a Caribbean Airlines 738 to HV but nobody in the Caribbean (POS) has heard of this lease. Do you have more information on this lease? If true it is too bad HV will not be leasing the 738 that has been painted in the airline's new livery (Hummingbird tail).

The following was copied from the aviationphotos.org forum:

Quoting aircolours:

9Y-GEO B737-8Q8(W) MSN 28225 to be leased from Caribbean Airlines (prev. BWIA) 03/07-29/08; in service 06/07-26/08. Aircraft will remain in Caribbean Airlines (BWIA) colours. Might be reregistered PH-HSX but is still very uncertain.

Bye, CU.
