I read in La Presse today that TS announced today it would increase the size of its fleet of widbodies with the addition of a new Airbus A310-300. Is the aircraft really new or previously used? If it's previously used, with which airline was it before? I didn't even think A310s were still made for passenger service.

The last A310 produced was an A310-324 for Uzbekistan Airways to which it was delivered in June 1998. So TS will get another second-hand A310, but I've no clue yet from which source.

New A310 production officially ceased a long time ago The A330-200 has effectivly continued where the A310 stopped.

Wouldn't be surprising. They already have a few ex LH A313s in their fleet, the last one being C-GTSX, which used to be D-AIDH and flew for a year with NM before NM was shut down.

I saw this mentioned in the papers here in Toronto. For some odd reason though the 310 shown with the article was not a TS one rather RJ. Take from that what you will.
