Ah great!!! Someone finally did it!
For the last couple of month I was writing a frontend to a database i developed, which would do similar things, but a much greater detail, including features like
FF Miles tracking
cost tracking
breakdown of equipment by type/subtype
cancellations/diversions
delay
runway used
gate used
trip report attachments
media attachments
links to accident databases
route and maybe an actual route (as flighaware shows it)
Other things are coming up lately, and I havent worked on it for some time now, and it looks like now I dont have to!!! I am hoping that website owners will add more detail as needed.
As a matter of fact why dont we collect various suggestions from the users and submit them to the website owners. Talk about Customer Input!

well so far the site (the german) was updated with new tools every some weeks... they do a really great job! and I am sure they are very open for and customer input, they even createt and off-shore airport in colombia with the coordinates for me... as I had a flight from / to there several years ago.

Great site indeed... spent some time transferring some data into it yesterday. Very cool. They talk about future enhancements such as import/export to/from excel in their faq's!!

So, if you dont mind, along with discussion, why dont this thread become a post for peoples feature requests here, and then have them submit them to flightmemory.com

English language cities - Geneva, rather than Genf.
That is the only criticism I have really, but the good thing is that you can just change it yourself as you go along.
I registered a few weeks ago onto Flugstatistik.de but couldn't navigate around it as my German is too limited. I am so pleased that they have created this English version so quickly. I think it is going to be extremely poular.
For anyone else like me who previously registered with Flugstatistik.de, you can use your existing name/password on the new site.

I just signed in there. I wish they can amend the site so that the 'domestic' map will feature one's truly domestic map (Malaysia in my case) not Germany's map and regional map (South East Asia) instead of Europe map. The statistics as well should suits this.
Since it was made that way, the majority of my flights fall under the 'Other Flight' category.

Here's a suggestion...
sometimes you do a roundtrip.. there should just be a little button you click that will automatically add the roundtrip in the program instead of having to type it out going and back.. just a thought..
but I also agree.. there should be the connecting airports included..

I have used this site for a while and find it to be great. The developers are very friendly and prompt at responding to queries. They are also working on multi-stop itineraries because I anticipate that to be a question here.

It took me about three months to fill in all my flights (I work as a flight attendant plus fly a lot on private trips) but everytime I put down a new flight I love looking at the statistics. Beautiful page!

I entered what I could remember. I'll have to go through my expense folder to get all the business trips.
Another nice future would be to copy flights and just change dates.
