I remember a few months ago, there was some discussion of AA doing some renovation work in Terminal B. Could someone enlighten us as to what the status of the project is? I have not been over to the AA side of B for at least 10-12 months and I recall it as being in need of serious work.

Nothing is being done right now. The only thing that has been done is a new food court located just inside the former security checkpoint.
Back in 2001 AA and Massport announced a large expansion of that area of Terminal B which would have essentially connected the two sides and included FIS facilities. After 9/11, the steam essentially was blown out. AA decided to continue work on their JFK project (which would in turn be reduced in size) and Massport decided to continue to funnel international traffic through Terminal E and modest improvements would be made over time. I imagine you'll eventually see some other improvements but with AA essentially dismantling the BOS focus city in face of higher low-cost competition, I imagine it's pretty unlikely that we'll ever see that Terminal B expansion, at least not in the form that it was originally intended.

I was under the impression that they were reworking things to allow for a secure connection between the AE gates and the rest of the gates to allow for easier connections, but I suppose you know nothing about that.
