Is MEA Joining SkyTeam Or What?

Hey a.netters,

For the past couple of years now, I have been hearing rumors from MEA staff and friends who are aviation freaks like me stating the MEA will become an offical SkyTeam member. I countinue to hear this and MEA has yet become one. When will they join?

Last year it was announced that they will become a SkyTeam associate member.
