Todays AC942 from YYZ to BDA - YYZ was a 767 300, that in itself is a little unusual, as we mostly see 319's and 320's now days. I am pretty sure this was the first 767 that has been redone to arrive in Bermuda.
What was very unusual was the surprise by local ground crew seeing the "Project XM" interior. And I would also say the passengers on 942 and the 943 return where also very surprised.
From what I understand FIN ??? was well received by all. One can only wish to see more XM'd Fins in Bermuda.
Well done Air Canada!
Maybe a special charter might bring one of the new 777's someday? (wishful thinking huh?)

I think the day before, the Toronto-Bermuda flight cancelled, so today, they had to send a larger aircraft... originally planned as a 767-200, but further upgraded to a 767-300. It doesn't happen often.
I believe you are correct, this year has seen it's share of cancellations due to weather. And with hurricane season starting in June! who knows?
It's almost May and we are still using heat on some nights.
Also very few longtails (tropic birds) They return around mid February to mate.............I have not seen one yet but their have been reports.
Strange weather indeed.
On a side note Bermuda has a new name for it's Airport!
"L. Frederick Wade International Airport"
Named in honour of the late Progressive Labour Party leader Frederick (Freddie) Wade.

Sounds like YYZ-BDA traffic has not grown for decades. Even in the late 80's, AC operated the same daily flight with a 722, upgrading to the 762 on weekends. Now it appears to be a daily 319 primarily.
