Small Incident At Zurich

Damn. I missed it!

About an hour ago a plane came down at Zurich airport without apparently deploying its nose landing gear. It seem this only deployed when, upon attending the incident, a few guys stood up on the back of the plane and lifted the front!

I've been working near the airport for a while now and never seen anything. The one time it happens I was delayed coming to work. My colleague has a post scene photo, but will need to get home before being able to transfer it to a pc.

For those interested, it was a R 90-230RG, reg HB-DBF.

ummm. sorry, but a further correction. this didn't happen on landing but on take off.

that's the problem when you report news second handed!

Next time I''ll get up earlier so I'm here on time to see if for myself  Smile

Sorry Daleaholic... I phrased it badly. I should have said it retracted while the aircraft was preparing for take off
