LHR T3 To T2 Transfer

I am flying Sydney to London with NZ and will arrive in T3. And I have an onward flight with LH from T2. Both segments are on a seperate ticket.

I have 4 hours on my way to Germany but only 1:50 the other way around. What is the procedure. The latter transfer might be tight.

Do I have to pick up my luggage in London or can I check it throught? I reckon I have to get a new boarding pass in London.

Thanks for your advice.

You can ask the LH staff in Germany to tag your bags all the way through to SYD (show them the NZ ticket); should be no problem at all - however, you'll probably have to get your NZ boarding pass in LHR - NZ should have a desk a the FCC (Flight Connections Centre), through which you will have to pass, since you'll arrive in T2. Afterwards, you'll take the bus to T3.

If it's not too busy in LHR (usually, the morning hours are a nightmare), there should be no problem with making your connection.
