If VS do start flying to Middle-Eastern destinations, as there've been rumors they will, what type of plane do you think would be used?
Gulf Air normally use A330s (to London) but VS only fly A340s B747s & A321s. Do you think it would be 'uneconomical' to use those planes & would a plane like the B767 or A330 be better?

This is of course a question of the destination:
If they fly (for example) to Beirut, I think they would use the A321.
If they fly to Dubai, I believe they need bigger aircraft. As they won´t buy a further different aircraft only for this route, I think they would take the A340/B747 and use Dubai (for example) only for a stop an a route to the east of Asia.
In my opinion, it´s the best way to check this route on demand and it´s the most commercial way to use their aircraft.

Most probably if they start flying indeed most probably it would be to Dubai or Bahrain and the A-340 is economical for this route . Emirates has 3 777 flights daily and-300 versions . And Gulf Air operates A-340 and A-330
