Quoting Abrelosojos (Reply 3): Very cool and retro. Reminds me of flying a 743 in the early 90s.
The interiors have not been changed since they got the plane from Singapore Airlines. The business class is different, but the economy looks absolutely the same.

Well the Business Class seats are SQ's Ultimo seats, introduced in the late-90s prior to the later implementation of the (current) SpaceBeds. However, they have been re-upholstered to keep with the cabin color scheme of Oasis.

Isn't O8 supposed to be an LCC?
Meals are nice, so are the army of F/As.

Quoting SkyGazer (Reply 6): Did these planes originally have these seats when they were sold to Oasis?
I would've thought that most of SQ's 744 fleet would've had Spacebeds in Raffles.
I don't know for sure about the planes sold to Oasis, but the four 744 that SQ sold to CX had the newer seats in the front removed and replaced with the old ones before they got rid of them.

Yes they could had left the lie flat seats in the Business Class.
Oasis is a LCC but they provide a free meal in EC and you pay for your drinks>
The BC is a full service BC. You get free drinks, IFE and free meals.

The seats on the O8 planes are EXACTLY the same as SQ's old ones. But still, that can't be a bad thing, as SQ is a 5-star rated airline.

Well, the Y-class meals are probably the worst you can get out there. The quality is pretty bad, and so is the quantity. But it's surely presented with a smile from very professional F/A's, and bear the ticket price in mind, you certainly don't feel unfair treated when buying an additional 20HKD snack or beer on board.
The seats are exactly the same in Y, only change seem to be a Oasis logo when the PTV's boot
Quoting Vasu (Reply 14): I'd quite like to try them out some time - I hear they really are VERY cheap!
Indeed they are, especially ex-HKG without the very very high LGW taxes. Besides the meal/drink thing, it really doesn't feel like an LCC at all!
Last flight: SAW-CPH on H9 on 02/11/09 - Next Flights: 23/12/09 CPH-AAL on QI, 30/12/09 CPH-LHR on SK, 19/01/10 CPH-CDG-

Are they still planning on starting HKG-OAK this June? I bet you CX will notice them sooner or later.

Nice interior. IMO the purple throws it a little off, but nice nontheless.

Yeah. A one-way, all-inclusive fare HKG-LGW is from £115.

25 Skippy777: so 230 GBP for a return. Business Class is also not so expensive. A way to travel comfortable for that price
26 Skippy777: Are they going to offer free tickets to Vancouver? A friend of mine told me that this is a promotion. I hope to meet him in Hong Kong than
