I fly in to the region almost every month... I live in Budapest, but you'll never see me on any of those flights. I had an experiance with Travel Service a few years back on one BUD-AQJ charter flight and promised to every god in any region of the world that never again will I step on board a TVL plane...
This only adds to all the bad stories I continously hear about their LCC offspring Smartwings.

Hey, can you be more precise? I was planning to put my GF on on of their flights, when she will go on Holiday with her friends. What's the problem with them?

I agree, that O2 logojet looks really really good**. AFAIK few days after the plane has been repainted Travel Service wet leased it to Wizz Air and now its based in Katowice.
The absurd thing is that they've wet leased their own almost brand new 738 and for their own routes will use old 734 leased from some unknown Turkish charter airline. TVS is hopeless.

My personal experience was an over 5 hours delay on the way to AQJ and an extra almost whole day (I think 16 or 18 hours if I remember correctly) on the way back... in both directions we where left without any information, meal, drinks or any service... on the way back even the tour operators representative had no idea nor communication coming from the arrival of the plane. We (the passenger) where calling home on mobile phones to know when the plane departed from BUD to pick us up, but even that was nothing to go by because we ended up on a plane that finally came from PRG. And believe me AQJ airport is not a place you would want to spend an entire day... even after it's refurbishment. The agony of the delays was so frustrating, that I can not even comment on the in-flight service, and besides it was a charter flight after all, so maybe the service is better on other flights, but the headless delays and lack of any customer support was only the airline's fault, and apart from my experience I can only hear these problems from them... NEVER have any of my friends commented anything positive on them. Not if they flew to somewhere nearby in the Mediterranean, nor if they dared to take them to Bangkok or other longhaul... Bangkok? Can you imagine? If my memory serves me well it took them 2 stops in the middle of nowhere to get there... on a 737... at airports that you normally don't even bother to put on a map...
I repeat, I only had this one experience with them, and I know any airline can have a bad day, but I can show tons of people here, who go to book a holiday and one of their first question is: -Who operates the flight? ...Travel Service? ...No thanks!
