Will Philadelphia get more european airlines, and maybe asian airlines once the huge expansion project is finished?

All they have are BA 777 or 747 to LHR and LH A340, plus the US A330/767 flights.

PHL is a logical supplement to IAD and JFK because it is exactly between them.

When KoreanAir expanded to BOS and DEN a few years ago, they claimed at the time that PHL and MIA were on top of their list for future destinations.

I thought Swissair didnt have any 747s left? Is it not an A330 or MD11 flight?

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

KLM/NW is not going to fly into PHL. US airways is returning to AMS next year in march..the route is not very profitable (at least not when 2 airlines are on it).

Swissair no longer flies here, I wasn't aware of any MD-11 service-I forgot the AF A310, but I am talking about airlines like TAP, SABENA, IBERIA, Alitalia, and airlines like that. On the Asian side, ANA, JAL, or KE.

USAFHummer: We should expect flights here @ PHL when the new international terminal is done in 2002. If you want to know why, just go to the international gates around 17:00-18:00. It is mobbed.

SAS has decided to open a daily CPH-IAD service from May 2001, and will probably not come to Philadelphia. They also fly 4 daily CPH/OSL/ARN-EWR.

Lufthansa and United offer good code-share connections to Philadelphia from Scandinavia aswell, and Icelandair have good connections to Baltimore via KEF.
