Randy Baseler has posted his farewell blog entry on Randy's Journal.

Mr. Baseler's blog was outstanding in that it gave all of us aviation enthusiasts a regular peek into what Boeing's views on the industry were. He was amongst the earliest high level corporate types to write a blog and did it with class.

Thank you, Mr. Baseler, and happy retirement.

All of us are looking forward to Mr. Tinseth's blog.

A very classy gentleman-I for one will miss him. I hope the new Randy maintains the same high standards.

Consider that when I’m 64, there will be several hundred 787s in service. Just think of that! And just maybe the A350 will be getting ready to debut at that time.

Haha...always a good sense of humor. Good luck in retirement Randy!

I wish I could retire at 58! He probably invested his 401K in the company stock....

Quote from the Blog

"But I’ll make sure to stop off at various truck stops along the way – many of them have Wi-Fi as well as hot coffee these days. This way maybe I can check in on the various aviation discussion Web sites - and STIR UP A BIT OF MAYHEM from time to time."

GO RANDY! JOIN A-NET!!!!

All the best

From the way he writes, he's probably already a member. I'm sure he reads it, at least.

So even when I’m 64, even though I won’t have the platform of Randy’s Journal, I’m sure I’ll still have something “profound” to say.

He´s very welcome. Personally I value the additions of the 55+ a.net folks high. Generallly broader views & inside info / revelations and a more moderate tone.

Yea Randy is really a good guy ! I like him very much ... pity he goes , the best of his blogs was his neutrality against the concurrence ...

Randy we´ll miss ya !

All the best to you , and your family / friends !
