KE 747-400 Routes With New Seats

Hi all. I will be flying Korean Air Prestige (Business Class) at the end of this month from ATL-ICN. Last year the flights operated with the old interiors but I had heard that the ATL flights were now operated with the new interiors. Does anyone have a list of the North American routes with the 747-400s with the new interiors? Also what about their 777-300s? I have a connection to BKK and did not know if these new aircraft had the new interiors with the AVOD entertainment eqpt.

ATL does get the new equipment. I think most of the U.S. flights get the new equipment now. But, don't quote me on it.

Not sure about the B777-300s. But the A330-300s that I have been on do not have the AVOD or the upgraded first and business seats. They did have the new interiors.

Thanks 757KW for the update. I flew on one of the new interiors on a short leg last year (ICN-HKG) and it was awesome...much improved over the older interiors.

The 777-300's most likely still have the old interior with no AVOD. I flew ICN-PEK on one of the birds and it didn't have any AVOD. Now the 772ER's do have the new interior of course.

You can check if your flight on specific day has new J seat on delta.com. You can check codeshared KE flights, and by comparing with 747 seatmaps of KE website, you'll confirm. I can see that ATL-ICN is mostly new config one. However, all 4 773s does not have new J seats nor AVOD. Have a nice trip!!

True, and they're very uncomfortable in Prestige. Unfortunately BKK is now sold as F/C/Y, so no more F seating for C pax usually.

Not in near future. (Maybe never..) A333 and 332 are classified as "medium"-haul aircraft for KE although it goes BNE, PRG, ZRH, AMS, IST and SVO. (CAI and DXB will soon be upgraded by 772) And, upgrading works are only for long haul aircrafts - 744 & 772ER. So, no plane for A332 at this point.
