Here's a photo (courtesy of Mick R) of VH-SWO at Brisbane today.

Excellent looking scheme...  Smile

Unfortunately, SkyAirWorld does not yet have its AOC and Solomon Airlines has had to extend its lease on the 737-300 from Air Class of Spain (EC-JSL).

Once the AOC has been obtained, the EMB will operate 6x weekly Brisbane-Honiara/Santo services.

Can't wait to see this aircraft up and flying.

With regards to Virgin Blue and their first EMB, well I believe it's still scheduled for delivery in Brisbane in August.

For those spotters out at BNE today, it's my understanding -SWO may be conducing a training flight:

Brisbane-Honiara-Santo-Brisbane

Appears Solomon Airline's regular (passenger) flight has been cancelled today.

Any likelihood of them flying to SYD or do they code-share beyond BNE with QF or something?

Not quite correct my friend.. EC-JSL left today for Spain as they were committed to an already arranged lease.. Our friends @ Ozjet will be running the route for about 2 weeks until the innaugural flight of the E Jet. The AOC is imminent (early next week) and subject to some minor regulatory paperwork and contractural arrangements the flights will go ahead aout the 14th..
