Air New Zealand 747 At SFO

Just curious if anyone knows why NZ has a overnight 747 at SFO? It strikes me as odd since it is on the International A concourse. (A-7)

Air New Zealand Flight NZ 7 SFO-AKL was delayed overnight last night. It is scheduled to depart at 12 noon today. I'm not sure of the cause of the delay though.


If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

It was quite a surprise so see that plane as it was being towed at 5:40PM yesterday evening to Int'l A. Initially I thought it was taxiing towards runway 28 ( too early for it's published flight) until it turned south & I realized it was being repositioned.

Once in a while, there are no gates available in the G-Terminal or there are too many Intl' arrivals during that time period. So, they push them over to the A-Terminal. The same thing is going on with CX. At least twice a week, they are over at the G-Terminal.

Did you notice they moved one of VA's A320 over to the Central Terminal. Nice advertising. I wish someone would get a shot of VS going by the VA aircraft.
