Reid still sucks, but that's old news.

Virgin still is whining because they offered to get rid of Reid, and the DOT said they liked that idea, and now Virgin wants to back out of that part of the deal. You give them an inch, they want a mile. Seems like they should just take what they can get at this point and be grateful they're even being allowed to fly.

Good goes around!

Technically, they were given conditions for approval, not a tentative approval. If they meet the conditions, they will be approved.

Virgin has yet to meet those conditions, and are willing to park planes and in theory lose millions instead of meeting them (i.e. following the law of the nation they want to operate in).

If anyone wanted more proof of the real motive of Virgin America's founders (dilute the ownership rules in the USA so SRB could invest in other airlines), just look at their actions now...

Of all the things to worry about... the Wookie has no pants.

Best thing is they have fred reid ... The rest of the airlines are safe.. If they ever get to start..no worries, they have fred reid. If you get fired from 2 airlines, working for a 3rd is either" you will finally get the picture" or "get out of the busniess"... Everyone thinks the latter fits....
