I wish they'll get at least one B737-900ER (and one E170 too). If it's about commonality, it's OK and they could better use their fleet for high and low demand flights on a day by day basis.

Why lease only one? It would be a pain to schedule just one aircraft  thumbsdown

There was a four frame 737 UFO order very recently (like last week or so). Is this that order?

Looks like that is the case.

The E70 would be crazy, CM has no routes that need less than 90 seats, the E90 is the right size for the smaller markets, anything smaller is probably not worth bothering with.

The 739ER would have been a good choice a few years back, but I believe now it is too late, It is probably best to wait for Y1 at this point than to bother with ordering the -900.

Off the top of my head I can only think of 4-5 routes that would require 200 seats, BOG, SJO, MIA, SAL. CM is better off increasing frequencies instead of going through the cost of introducing yet another subfleet you would need at least 8 739s to make it worthwhile; so expect more 738s in the future IMO.

BTW BOG will be 4 daily starting July 13, 2 by CM and 2 by P5

CM makes use of its aircraft according to demand, on some routes, aircraft type could be E190, B737-700 or B737-800. If CM is to have at least one B737-900 and one E170, that'll give them greater flexibility and better aircraft utilization.

You might want to add Havana, Mexico City and Santo Doming  twocents

CM has no routes.. Does that means that CM isn't interested in new profitable routes that could be flown with smaller aircraft??
So many complaints about PAP, sure Haïti could support daily PTY E170 service now ..
Leisure destination ADZ is another I would like to see flown on E170 instead of on an E190.. Too much overcapacity for a low-yield market.
If CM want to fly someday to BZE, GCM, AUA, CUR, SCU, BGI, GEO, IQT, VSA, TPA, PBI, JAX, MSY even Centralamerica / domestic from DAV (!); then the E170 could work.
