Hello all,

My first post! I've been reading these for years and decided to finally bite the bullet and join the forums.

I put together a rundown of a good portion of the parts of the 787 and their location on planet Earth at the moment. What's been delivered, what hasn't (as far as I can tell) and pictures of a lot of the parts and pieces. I used what information I could from company press releases, documents and supplier websites to put everything together. If anyone has information that I should add, PLEASE let me know so I can update it accordingly. Also, I'm going to be updating this as parts move and come together. May and June are going to be serious months for this airplane!

Looks like the next big milestones coming up are going to be the delivery of the wings to Everett from Nagoya and also Sections 47 and 48 from Charleston (aft sections) which were set to be delivered (according to Vought) in late April. Cause for concern? Thoughts?

Also, with the potential strike that could begin at Hamilton Sundstrand as early as this weekend, the APUs may not make it to Everett in time (unless some have been delivered already). Another potential delay? Does anyone have details on this?

Thanks for reading,

IAD787

Are the APUs stuffed into the aft section at Boeing (I was wondering if this may happen at the suppliers factory?)

The tail cone (which will house the APU) is coming from Busan, South Korea directly to Everett from KAL-ASD. So I'm going to assume the APU will meet the tail cone in Washington, not South Carolina or even South Korea.
