Have you ever been inside an airplane as it was photographed for airliners.net? You can tell based on the date of the picture, the time of day (depending on the sun) and the airline you flew. I think that I was inside this plane the time this shot was taken. I flew on this AA 767 on an IAD-LAX leg on March 18, 2000. Pretty cool to think that somebody on the ground was taking it's picture right then. It was one of these tail numbers. Does anybody know which one flew from IAD-LAX in March 2000?

So far, the only aircraft I can't find in the database that I have flown on is an Eagle Air (NZ) Embraer Bandierante. The other 30 or so aircraft I have flown are all in the database.

Most of them are. I like this photo in particular, as I have been on both of them:

I think that sdate747 meant to ask if the photo was taken when you were on the plane. Just about everyone on this forum who flies and keeps track of registrations can find pictures of planes they were on. I sure can anyway.

You must have amazing eyesight to see a face in the window.

Although I don't think pictures are shot FOR Airliners.net (and that would undermine the whole system wouldn't it?), but I have been on a/c where the pics of that specific a/c are listed on the Airliners.net database.

I meant pictures that ended up on Airliners.net for the world to see and enjoy. I think the best use for a spotter's work is for it to be seen on a website where it is well appreciated.

I was on this Singapore Airlines 744. It was operating as SQ 862 SIN-HKG on Aug 12. I was seated on the upper deck but on the other side so I couldn't see myself in the picture

I´m sure there are more, but I don´t keep track on the planes registrations when I fly with them.

The king of them all - the one and only An-225. I'm sure there are some others - like Tu-154's, Il-86, and An-24, but An-225 is the only one I'm positively sure about.
