Although I'm not a big fan of MAS's current livery - I would still prefer the old livery over the new one. Much blander than the current one - and seems somehow tasteless - but perhaps it will look better in real life..
the direct link of the 777 tour is as follow

Hmmm. Interesting. I have to say I like their current, red and blue livery much better. It doesnt look that great on the 747, because the cheatline is too thick, but it looks excellent on the A330 and 777. That White body, with narrow cheatline then grey underside looks really good, probably the best livery on a 777. Same goes for Air China's
This new MAS is bland. It needs something else on the fuselage (Look at Air New Zealand. It is a great livery, but it would suck without that wave design...)

I've gone to the websites you have posted, but I cant seem to see where the new livery is!? I flown with Malaysia Airlines a couple of times and they have had this red and blue livery for at least 2 years!

Why is MAS introducing a new livery and is hiding it somewhere way back in its internet page? Doesn´t seem too proud at all.
Anway, I can´t open it so I don´t know if its nice or crap.

Interesting...never been fond of how all these airlines seem to be going for mainly all-white fueslage, but I suppose once we see the aircraft in real it will be quite okay.
Its really bizarre how they havent made a big deal at all about the livery.
And also strange how MH management have decided to change it pre sale of an MH stake to another airline. Normally these things are done in consultation with the new co-owners. oh well.

I prefer this formal livery but I don't like them both. The front section is a bit bare. A cheatline or just something would come in handy

Graphically its okay, but just okoy, not more. I´m disappointed that they chose blue and got rid of the red. Why? Are they so stupid not to see that many airlines have blue as their main colour?
"Boring, not distinctive, me too blue", that comes to my mind when seeing it.
Are you sure that MAS will introduce this or is more a "test-balloon"?
All in all a disappointment. 2000 is a bad year for new liveries. Can´t remember a single one that´s more than just average in quality: Finnair, Sabena, Air Europa, Delta, MAS, yawn...

MAS have had the virtual tour of the new livery on their Australian website for about a year now. Nothing seems to be happening. I too, think the livery is shocking. Boring. Although the present livery is not a thing of amazing beauty I still think that it looks more interesting than the new one. Maybe they are redesigning it. Let's hope so!

Hey guys I think you got all these wrong. MAS does not have official launching of the new lively. The pic that Thai747 posted seem is a private jet for the Royalty in Malaysia.

I have no idea if that livery is the future MAS one - although I printed the screen from the livery show in the MAS homepage - where the heading was " the new 777 wearing the new livery " - I'm still pretty unsure though
