Delta Air Lines finally got its proposed thrice weekly direct non-stop ATL-GIG service approved. Flights will start on december 14th, using B767-300ER equipment. Flight numbers will be DL160/161.
Does anybody know about the future of DL104/105 ATL-GRU-GIG. Will it be limited to GRU, and, if so, only on the days of the direct GIG flight.
Also, I would like to know about the other new flights that Delta previously announced. I can find back the JFK-TLV and JFK-CAI-DXB services in the reservation systems. Also, the transferred PDX services LAX-NGO and JFK-NRT are in the system.
But I cannot find the proposed BOS-LGW service, neither the ATL-FRA-DEL service. Is Delta actually planning to inaugurate this service, or is it still waiting government approval?
