Egypt A340 gvt
Qatar Airways A319
UAE B747-400
and a lot of Egyptian C-130 and mils but that looks normal
and a lot more
especially a lot of russian airliners
and middle east airliners from the golfstates
There where also a lot of security al over the place in Sharm El Sheik
I heard there was a middle east converence.

There was a political summit between 60 countries to help restructuring IRAQ.
Saudia B747SP gvt << brought Saudi Foreign Minister Prince. Saud Al Faisal (interesting that his name and the country name are very similar)
USAF B757-200 << brought Condoleza Rice from the States
Iraqi Airways B727 << brought Iraqi Prime Minister Mr. Almalki
Egypt A340 gvt << most of the time there for presidential use
Qatar Airways << Brought Qatari Foreign Minister Mr. Al Mahmoud
UAE B747-400 << It was B737-700BBJ, brought Emirati Foreign Minister Mr. Al Sha'ali

This meeting was supposed to take place in Istanbul but they made a last minute change. It will be done in Turkey next year.

Thnx for the reactions.
It was for me the first time to spend in Sharm El Sheik and not the last time.
Does anybody know if there are sites where you can see the arrivaltimes or registrations of the planes from last week or maybe in the future.

I somehow doubt if information of arrivals at Sharm El S will be readily available when conferences are being held. I thought the contents of this thread would be about the conference, not the planes!!

That kind of information is not publicly available for Egyptian airports and you'll certainly find it impossible to get information on registrations. All you can get is total movement and passenger numbers at an airport but not a breakdown by airline or aircraft type.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in Sharm El Sheikh. Where about did you stay?
